AFTERNOON ACTIVITES

Afternoons at Kenton are split into two sessions. One session sees all pupils involved in the Sport (DIVs) programme. In the other session, pupils take part in a wide range of activities that aim to introduce them to new skills and hobbies, develop those skills and also promote pupils’ initiative, leadership, teamwork and independence.

 

These Afternoon Activities form an integral part of the Kenton Award - skills learnt and achievements gained work  towards each pupil’s Kenton Award record for the year.

 

The activities that pupils undertake tend to be closely linked to the interests and expertise of the teaching staff, with recent examples including:
