WELCOME TO KENTONCOLLEGE Preparatoty School
Kenton College has a proud tradition in sports and it plays a major part in the life of a pupil at the school. In addition to an hour of Physical Education each week, pupils typically have four scheduled sports practices a week. There are also daily opportunities for pupils to enjoy optional practice sessions before school, before lunch and after school in sports including: swimming, tennis, cross-country, athletics and rugby.
Pupils are engaged in sporting activities every afternoon apart from on Fridays. As well as practicing the primary sports of the term, pupils also partake in swimming and tennis lessons all year round.
The school plays regular inter-school fixtures against other IAPS Preparatory Schools in Kenya as well as competing in at least two major tournaments each term at Under 9, Under 11 and Under 13 level. The level of sport at Kenton College and in Kenya is at an internationally good standard with many of our pupils competing at international level in a number of different sports.
