As we work with the year 6 on La Rochelle, we went to the city's official website. We found lots of fun stuff to work aorund and to directly put in application our latest learnings.

We were working on asking and giving directions, asking for city maps. We also learned some of the city vocabulary townhall, youthhostel, camping, museum etc..

The website offers different sections such as leisure, activities, city maps and virtual tours of the city.

It s a very well done website that your kids should feel free to go back to, eventually to show you some great places they've learned about in class!

The website is accessible both in English and French, of course we would advise the kids to use it in French so that they can use their knowledge of the French language to navigate in this website...
