In other results this week, the U11 A Rugby team lost a nailbiter 19-17 to Peponi. However the U11 B Rugby team stormed back from 3 tries down to beat Peponi 55-15. Amazing! Well done everyone! |

Congratulations to the 2nd Girls, the U11 A and B Netballers who all beat Pembroke yesterday. Unfortunately the 1st Boys Rugby and 1st Girls Netball could not manage wins and neither could the U11 A rugby. Still, it was great to see so many Kenton pupils on the playing fields of Pembroke yesterday. |

As the departure date draws ever nearer, there are a fewthings I would like to remind you of. Firstly, payment. Please send a cheque into school for25,000/- payable to ‘Kenton College Trust’. Please make sure that these come tome so that I can tick you off as having paid. I would also like the money infrom the parents who have contacted me to say that they would like to come. Secondly, identification. I have been in touch with KWS andthey are no longer letting us use our Wildlife Clubs membership for entry tothe park. Therefore, could you please make a photocopy of your child’scitizenship or residency, along with the photopage on the passport (please putall onto one sheet of A4). Thirdly, kit. I would like to see the 3 most important itemsof kit well before the kit packing day. These are: boots, waterproof andsleeping bag. I would like to reiterate that these items of kit must be up tothe task. If they are not then we will not take your child on the trip forobvious safety reasons. Lastly, on Sunday 13th June we leave from Kentonat 5.30am and your child will need a packed lunch for this day only. Dan Barnett |

Yesterday the Kenton 1st Boys Rugby and the 1st Girls Hockey teams took on the top prep school from Zimbabwe, Ruzawi. The girls won their hockey match 5-0, showing they had lost none of their skills from last term! The boys were given a lesson in crisp passing and hard tackling and lost 41-0. Ruzawi were quite a side and it will be interesting to see their results against the rest of the Kenyan prep schools. The Kenton boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed playing against such good opposition and hosting them for the night. Kenton wishes Ruzawi good luck for the rest of their tour and hope they have a most enjoyable stay in Kenya |
