This week was Cross Curriculum Week!!  In French, Year 6 and 7's have looked into the 19th-century art  movement better known  as Impressionism..... click for more!

We had cross-curricular week after the Trinity Exams in the Modern Lnaguages Department. Year 6 and 7 classes have been studying Impressionist Art and Music in their French lessons.

They have done some IT research on various impressionistic painters, namely Monet, Renoir, Seurat and many more... They have also listened to the impressionistic music of Debussy. They enjoyed the God with the Flaxen Hair in lesson time and several managed to download Claire de Lune during our IT session.
